About us

Atihow is a profit making business made up of two businesses: Atihow (Australia) and Atihow Ltd (Zambia).

The Australian business is registered under George Mutale (ABN: 57 559 914 423) and has been in operation since 2005 and the Zambian business is a registered company with three directors and a company secretary with our Zambian head office in Kitwe, operational since 2009.

We have clients in Australia and Zambia, and currently expanding our business in Zambia. Our main focus is web application development, IT consulting, training in IT from K to 12 and college level, business development and improvement and community development.

We believe that solutions to a number of challenges faced by companies, organisations and individuals lie in education, innovation and implementation.

Educate

We can’t over emphasis this. We do not mean go to school, college or university. We mean that you need to know what you are doing or what you want to do. And if this means studying for a certificate, diploma, degree etc then do it. Knowing how to give change does not amount to knowing how to run a business.

Innovate

There are a lot of good ideas out there that you can copy from. Yes, that’s right, copy. But don’t just copy, see how the idea can be adapted for the environment you want to introduce it to. Innovate.

Implement

What’s the point of all that planning if there is nothing to show for it? Everyone has brilliant ideas, but very few of us implement our ideas. “Success is all about great execution” Getting Real – The smarter, faster, easier way to build a successful web application.

Because if you don't, who will?

There is a need to focus on the individual as the driver of change. While there are more efficient and may be effective ways of doing things, like working in a group or as an organisation, at the most basic level, as an individual you must have the desire to change.

Our Partners

Our partners are the Zambian people. There are at least 12.6 million untold stories in Zambia, and counting.

Our Zambia is a peacful, beautiful, resource rich nation with a lot of potential.

The gears of change in Zambia are turning, and I think much more so than ever before. We are seeing the evolution of our traditions, the introduction of policies against property grabbing is one such change. And we have our challenges of course, such as the need to teach our children and even older Zambians the need to have savings.
